Charlotte Padel Club

Charlotte Padel Club has been the city's main padel community since 2022, and its South Charlotte location at 8401 Sharon Lakes Road is the indoor half of the operation: three climate-controlled courts a few minutes from SouthPark. Rain, July humidity, or a cold January night don't matter here, which makes this the club's most dependable location year-round. Court time is $25 per person per hour with a 90-minute minimum, booked on Playtomic (pick the South Charlotte location). Members get lower rates and earlier booking across four tiers, but you don't need a membership for court time, open play, or clinics. Open play is organized by skill level, so you can show up solo and get placed in a game. The Charlotte Padel Academy runs private lessons and group clinics, and every player gets a Club Rating IQ score through Playtomic that updates from rated sets and feeds the ongoing Ladder League. The club is on Sharon Lakes Road in the Quail Hollow area of south Charlotte, between SouthPark and Park Road. It is mostly residential with a few busy shopping corridors, about 15 minutes from Uptown via Park Road or I-77, and close to the I-485 loop for players coming from Ballantyne or Pineville. Parking on site is free. For food after a match, Quail Corners shopping center on Park Road is the closest cluster: Tap & Vine has a big patio and a full bar, Salsarita's is quick Mexican, and Wolfman Pizza is a local favorite. Cherry House II, right on Sharon Lakes Road, covers takeout Chinese. SouthPark mall and its restaurants are a short drive north if you want a sit-down dinner.
