Proximo Padel opened March 19, 2026 in Belmont Cragin on Chicago's Northwest Side, and it is built for serious year-round play: four indoor courts under 40-foot ceilings in a 27,000-square-foot building, with non-glare ring lighting and well-kept synthetic turf. Brothers Alex and Victor Vainberg left their trading firm careers to bring padel to the Midwest. Courts are booked in 90-minute blocks at $150 off-peak or $170 at peak through the club's own platform at book.proximopadel.com. Open play and clinics run $35 per session, private lessons are $140 an hour, and a $120 monthly membership takes 25% off everything. The club also runs beginner clinics and league play, and rents equipment so newcomers can try the sport without buying a racket.
