Proximo Padel is Chicago's newest dedicated padel facility, opened March 19, 2026 in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side. Co-founded by brothers Alex and Victor Vainberg — who left their trading firm careers to bring padel to the Midwest — the 27,000-square-foot space features four indoor courts with 40-foot ceilings, non-glare ring lighting, and well-kept synthetic turf. The club offers private lessons, group clinics for all levels, open play sessions, and league competition. Equipment rental is available for newcomers, and memberships start at $120/month for a 25% discount on court time. The facility also houses a juice bar, café lounge, pro shop, private changing rooms with showers, and lockers. With a tagline of "Play. Connect.
